CNA Telemetry Tech

About the role

This CNA/Telemetry Tech role provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will continually monitor patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. As an CNA on our team, you will be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, troubleshooting equipment problems and communicating needs to leader.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems and communicates needs to leader.

Requirements

• CNA State Registered in Colorado required.
• HS/GED required.
• Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preferred.
• Six months previous CNA experience, preferred.
• Previous telemetry experience, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of ECG exam annually upon hire.
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Qualifications

• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly).

Pay

The posted compensation range of $17.00 - $23.82 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
