CNA/Telemetry Tech
About the Role
This CNA/Telemetry Tech role provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. You will continually monitor patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of reports, error reconciliation, troubleshooting equipment problems, and communicating needs to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care under RN supervision.
- Monitor patients on telemetry, interpret and record ECG rhythms.
- Report pertinent changes in patient rhythms to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure accuracy of reports and reconcile errors.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and communicate needs to leadership.
Requirements
- Six months of previous CNA experience (preferred).
- Previous telemetry experience (preferred).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program (preferred).
- Successful completion of ECG exam annually upon hire.
- CNA State Registered in Colorado required.
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification.
- Medium Work: Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay
$17.00 - $23.82 per hour.
