CNA-TCU (Full-time, Nights)

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant under the supervision of the Registered Nurse provides patient care, performs selected nursing procedures, transports non-controlled medications, and supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. They collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure care is provided in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Desired EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in nursing unit or hospital environment

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS

• Current Certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board
• CPR Certification

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Demonstrated technical competence
• Effective communication skills
• Sensitivity towards the hospitalized patient and family
