CNA - TCU (Full-Time, Nights)

Compensation range: $23.09 - $29.56 per hour, based on applicable experience.

Shift: Nights • 12-hour shifts • Variable days off • 72 hours per pay period

About the role

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care, performs selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual, and transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy. The CNA supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed, collaborating with the patient care team to deliver care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Requirements

• Current Certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board
• Current CPR Certification
• Previous experience in a nursing unit or hospital environment

Skills & Abilities

• Technical competence in patient-care tasks
• Strong communication skills and sensitivity for hospitalized patients and families
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position
