About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will ensure residents receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Parker has been recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” by NJBiz.com for four consecutive years (2023–2026).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents in a compassionate, person-centered manner.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
- Support residents with dementia through specialized enrichment programs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and home-like environment.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with geriatric populations and long-term care settings.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Diplomatic, tactful, and confidential interpersonal skills.
- Flu vaccination required during flu season.
Schedule
Part-time, overnight shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, including every other weekend and some holidays.
Pay
$22.90 – $31.53 per hour, depending on experience.
