CNA Skilled Nursing
Job Summary
You will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital patient care tasks, support nursing staff, and actively participate in a supportive team environment.
- Provide quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
- Promptly answer call lights and respond to patient needs.
- Report patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accurately document vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and report findings promptly to Registered Nurse; maintain thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
- Assist with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.
- Provide person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
- Communicate concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma/G.E.D., Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program, State registered CNA license.
- Preferred: Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience.
Job Location
St. Francis Nursing Center in Colorado Springs, a 24-hour Skilled Nursing Facility.

Pay Information
$18.00 - $27.67 /hour
