About the role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide person-centered care to residents, ensuring their dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as hygiene, bathing, dressing, and transfers
• Supporting residents during meals, including escorting, serving, and feeding
• Performing housekeeping duties like bed making, laundry, and room cleaning
• Leading and participating in life enrichment activities and outings
• Taking vital signs and recording health data
• Supporting residents in scheduled programming
• Promote resident well-being, encourage participation in activities, and maintain a safe, clean environment

Requirements

• State certification as a Nursing Assistant
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
• Preferred two years of healthcare experience
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and pushing up to 250 lbs, with proper body mechanics

Skills

• Fluency in English
• Proficiency with electronic records and office equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and meet attendance standards

Schedule

This role may involve long hours, including nights and weekends. No travel is typically required, though occasional travel for training or emergencies may occur.
