About the role

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) in BAYADA’s ACSP Division, you will provide one-on-one personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home. You will follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse and serve patients in assigned counties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Support range of motion exercises.
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide medication reminders.

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required (training provided).
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to delivering patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Pay

$19 per home care case.
