CNA/Restorative - Wellness Instructor: Part-time
About the role
CNA/Wellness Instructor for Restorative Care at Aegis Therapies, one of the nation's leading providers of rehabilitation and wellness services. Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation and working exclusively with the therapy team, this role offers unique opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Receive full restorative training provided onsite.
- Assist in the restorative care of patients as directed.
- Exclusive restorative responsibilities including ambulation, transfer training, bed mobility, active/passive range of motion, dressing/grooming, splint/prosthesis care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Specialty certification as personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist, or similar area.
- Background in exercise and activity training with senior populations.
Qualifications
- Preferred certifications in personal trainer, exercise specialist, fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist, or similar area.
- Experience in senior population exercise and activity training.
