CNA Resident Care - Memory Center - Per Diem

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant at Mulberry Gardens will interact with clients of the Adult Day Center, providing support and care in a group setting and with individual clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with multiple clients in a group setting and with individual clients as needed.
• Monitor and report any client behavior, health, or vital statistic changes to a Licensed Nurse.
• Assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.

Requirements

• A Connecticut state Nurse Aide Certification is required.
• Ability to read, write & speak English.
• Flexibility to work with individuals with changing cognitive abilities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age.
• Team Player, able to interact professionally and compassionately with clients, staff, family members and others.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
