About The Unit
With 2 floors and 165 beds, we provide care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population being served. The unit includes a long-term care unit and a rehab unit, each with designated units focusing on patient specialties such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. Integrated services aim to provide goal-oriented, compassionate care while promoting independence and a healthy lifestyle.
About Rehab And Nursing Center-Kentridge
We are situated on a 10-acre campus with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to enhance patient independence, strength, and confidence. Patient rooms are mostly private, equipped with an attached bathroom, television, phone, and large windows. Each unit features a spacious living and dining area, and a menu-based meal service is provided.
Responsibilities
- Supports the staff scheduling process
- Communicates effectively with staff
- Performs the scheduling function as directed
- Collaborates with other personnel on scheduling aspects of patient care
- Aids in the patient scheduling function as needed
- Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (block schedule, vacation calendar)
- Transcribes scheduling information and updates staff schedules promptly
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of State of Michigan-approved CNA Training Course
- CRT-Nursing Assistant certification from the Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
