CNA/RCA

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living
• Affords assistance with medication reminders, treatments, and other care
• Encourages self-care and independence
• Sets up, serves meals, and cleans up afterwards
• Assists with moving Residents in and out as assigned
• Performs laundry service
• Demonstrates knowledge and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for Residents, staff, and visitors

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must
• A high school diploma
• At least one year of experience with a CNA certification preferred
• Mandatory: Full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia training preferred, but not required
