Responsibilities

• Assists with patient rooming processes including measures and documents height, weight, and vital sign readings, as directed.
• Room turnover and cleaning in a timely manner.
• Assists with supply stocking and monitoring.
• Performs receptionist duties, as required.
• Aid patients to and from the restroom.
• Aid patients and staff with wheelchair transfers.
• Be of assistance to the nurse.
• Restock room supplies.
• Aid with reordering medical supplies.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or HiSET Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant training program with verification of certification.
• Completion of 75-hour basic Certified Nursing Assistant Program or Completion of Advanced Nurse Aide Program with certificate.
• BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.
• Mandatory Reporter training or within 90 days of hire and must maintain throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Previous CNA experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Medical terminology completion of class within one year of employment.
