The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with each resident's assessment, care plan, and facility policies and procedures, playing a vital role in enriching lives in a transitional setting between hospital and home.

Facility: Linwood Meadows Care Center • Location: Visalia, CA

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and dining
• Measure and record vital signs (TPRs), weights, and intake/output as instructed
• Respond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for assistance are checked frequently
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, skin integrity, or behavior to the Charge Nurse
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative care under nursing supervision
• Maintain resident rooms, equipment, and personal belongings in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
• Report accidents, incidents, concerns, or potential violations immediately
• Foster a warm, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR certification preferred

Pay

Salary Range: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour (BOE)
