About the Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Phlebotomist at MCR Health, you will be one of the first people who greet our patients with a smile. This individual procures and processes specimens to be analyzed in our lab at MCR Health or shipped to the regional lab with the knowledge and skills necessary to assure accuracy in results, reporting, and billing. This individual may have to float to sites as needed at the direction of the Department Head or designee.
Responsibilities
- Take patient vital signs & document chief complaint(s)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of our patients
- Collect and process lab specimens
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Active FL Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required
- Active FL Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
- 1+ years' experience working clinically as a CNA
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required
- Valid government or State photo ID
