CNA (Part Time 7am-3pm)

About the role

The Caregiver at The Carnegie meets the needs of community residents by providing assistance with activities of daily living. Responsibilities include monitoring residents' well-being, assisting with daily tasks, and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' well-being and report any changes to appropriate associates/departments
• Assist with simple requests and learn resident preferences for exceptional customer service
• Supervise or assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other ADLs
• Provide companionship, encourage self-care, and document care provided
• Respond to emergencies, review 24-hour reports, and maintain confidentiality
• Support resident-centered wellness programs and assist with community events
• Maintain common areas and residents' rooms, and assist with laundry
• Communicate openly with staff, family, and other residents
• Support the team and adhere to company standards and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Nursing assistant course completion preferred
• First Aid certification and CPR, if required
• State training requirements and/or certifications (e.g., CNA)
• Basic technology skills (Microsoft Office, internet-based applications)
• Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
