CNA (Part Time, 1st or 2nd Shift)

About the role

The Caregiver at The Carnegie meets the community residents' needs by helping with activities of daily living. Responsibilities include monitoring residents' well-being, assisting with simple requests, providing companionship, and documenting care provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' well-being and report any changes in condition promptly
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, ambulation, and other activities of daily living
• Encourage self-care and provide companionship
• Respond to emergencies and assist with assistive devices
• Document care provided consistently
• Provide input to service plans and review reports
• Support resident-centered wellness programs and special events
• Maintain community common areas and residents' rooms
• Support staff and family interactions
• Work as part of a team and adhere to company standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Nursing assistant course
• First Aid certification and CPR (if required)
• State training requirements and/or certifications (e.g., CNA)
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications and other technologies
• Able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
