About the Role
Capitol River Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our night shift team in Jefferson City, Missouri. As a Night Shift CNA, you'll play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence while working alongside an experienced nursing team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with each resident's care plan
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and the use of mobility or adaptive equipment
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to the licensed nurse
- Maintain clean, dry, and comfortable environments by changing linens, clothing, and incontinent products as needed
- Make occupied and unoccupied beds while ensuring resident comfort and skin integrity
- Answer resident call lights promptly and provide excellent customer service
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, and feeding when appropriate
- Accurately document care provided according to facility policies
- Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Participate in shift reports and communicate effectively with nurses and other members of the healthcare team
- Help create a positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and coworkers
Qualifications
Required
- Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in good standing
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
- Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
- Previous experience as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Hospital, or Assisted Living community
- Experience providing direct resident care and assisting with activities of daily living
