Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position available at United General Medical Center in Sedro-Woolley, WA. Hourly compensation ranges from $24.06 to $33.97, depending on qualifications and experience. Position #: 133697.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse within the scope of CNA licensure.
• Perform basic technical skills such as CPR, taking and recording vital signs, measuring and recording fluid intake/output, applying dressings, recognizing and reporting signs and symptoms of common diseases or conditions, and administering treatments as directed by a physician or nurse.
• Aid patients with personal care tasks including bathing, mouth and skin care, grooming and dressing, toileting assistance, and eating and hydration.
• Help patients walk, exercise, and move in and out of bed.
• Maintain unit supplies by stocking patient rooms and supply areas to meet patient care needs.
• Document relevant patient care data.
• Provide clerical support to the unit, performing tasks such as order entry, chart processing, answering telephones, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Must be a Certified Nurse Assistant - Washington.
• Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
