About the role
Kāhala Nui is a premier senior living community in Hawaiʻi seeking dedicated part-time and full-time Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs).
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to provide person-centered care in the Skilled Nursing (SNF) department.
- Follow care plans, policies, and safety procedures.
- Lift, transfer, and assist residents safely, including standing, bending, and prolonged walking or standing.
- Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hawaii CNA Certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations.
- Proof of valid CPR and First Aid certification.
