CNA/Med Tech - Assisted Living- Full-Time

About the role

Full-Time overnight shift position supporting residents with daily living activities and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfers, ambulation, toileting, and other resident needs.
• Complete daily tasks: make beds, remove trash from rooms, serve meals, and maintain high hygiene standards in rooms.
• Take vital signs and report observations or changes in condition to the nurse.
• Practice infection prevention and control in compliance with Federal, State, and Facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately, and completely.
• Make routine and frequent rounds; ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place and functional.
• Prevent skin breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and frequent repositioning for residents needing assistance.
• Assist the Activities Department with resident activities.

Education and Experience

• Must be a certified nurse’s aide in accordance with Florida laws.
• Must be CPR and Med Tech Certified.
• Prior experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
