CNA Med Surg - FT Nights

About the role

Iberia Medical Center (IMC) in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for their Med Surg unit. The CNA will provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria for newborns, children, adults, and seniors.

Responsibilities

• Effectively interact with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain high standards of professional nursing.
• Use knowledge and skills to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria for various age groups.
• Identify patient and family education needs and collaborate with other disciplines to initiate appropriate education.
• Function as a positive role model and promote a professional image of Iberia Medical Center.
• Livewithin the Iberia Medical Center Standards of Performance and adhere to Patient Safety Goals.

Requirements

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• One year of previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.
