CNA/MA/Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)/7AM - 7PM Friday thru Sunday!

About the Role

In this role, you will provide essential assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program, helping them with daily activities while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of residents’ needs as set by the supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Maintain a daily log of assistance provided.
• Report any resident issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Respect and encourage residents’ independence and dignity.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate effectively, and respond to emergency situations.
• May require a CNA or CHHA license, depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Capacity to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Problem-solving skills to address practical issues and handle variables in high-stress situations.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
