CNA/MA/Care Associate - Assisted Living (AL)/11PM-7AM

About the Role

In this role, you will provide assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program, helping them with daily activities while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs as set out by the supervisor.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents.
• Maintain a daily log of assistance provided.
• Inform the supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of residents.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergency situations.
• May require a CNA or CHHA license, depending on the state.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Capability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
