About the role
The Restorative Nursing Assistant will provide residents with restorative/rehabilitative activities according to the treatment plan or Range of Motion (ROM) plan written by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and/or Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Provide restorative/rehabilitative activities as per the treatment plan or ROM plan.
- Support residents in their recovery and rehabilitation efforts.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved nursing assistant course.
- A National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
Qualifications
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- 6 months - as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care giver (preferred).
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of restorative/rehabilitative techniques.
