CNA - Long Term Care - Per Diem - Kodiak
About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides a wide variety of clinical and clerical support to the Long Term Care department and other departments in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides routine nursing and household duties/tasks to promote a resident-directed model of care in the home-like setting.
- Affords assistance to residents in all activities of daily living and life engagement.
Requirements
- Coursework/Training: Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
- Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
Qualifications
- 6 months experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care-giver

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
