CNA In-patient Unit
About the Role
AuthoraCare Collective is seeking an In-Patient Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position offers comfort and sensitivity to patients' and caregivers' emotional concerns and needs, responds appropriately to emergency situations, and maintains a clean, safe environment.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with the following shift and schedule:
- Shift: 3:45 PM - 12:15 AM
- Location: Hospice Inpatient Facility in Greensboro (Beacon Place)
- Alternating weekly schedule:
- Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
Responsibilities
- Provide basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy.
- Address emotional concerns and needs of patients and caregivers with compassion and sensitivity.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant program.
- Familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
- Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent telephone communication skills.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Automobile liability insurance at limits required by the agency.
- Must have own transportation.
