CNA Hospice House - 36 hrs/week - Days

About the role

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work in the Arcadia Hospice house location on a Full Time basis.

Responsibilities

• Supports and carries out the organization’s mission, vision, and values on a consistent basis.
• Performs only those personal care/home maintenance activities contained in a written assignment (Hospice Aide Plan of Care) by a health professional employee.
• Navigates and reports unusual conditions, incidents or behavior of a patient and/or patient/family interaction to the patient’s nurse or supervisory nurse.
• Maintains utmost respect for confidentiality in care of the patient/family.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License (only required if colleague chooses driving herself/himself as mode of transportation when reassigned to work at another facility).
• One to Three Years of training and/or experience required. One year of experience in a long term care facility strongly preferred.
