CNA - Hospice Aide
About the role
Crescent Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet each patient’s physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care following the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
- Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Afford support for families by sharing your knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
- Maintain accurate documentation to deliver high-quality care in compliance with patient and agency standards.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting.
- Hospice experience a plus!
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.
Pay
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
