Pay
$19 – $22 hourly.

Responsibilities
- Provides personal care services to patients.
- Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to personal and supportive care techniques such as ambulation, transferring, assisting with range-of-motion and positioning, and household chores.
- Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding as assigned.
- Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
- Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient’s status; if unable to perform a task, reports to the primary nurse.
- Follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care; written instructions must be received prior to delivering services.
- Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
- Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant per state requirements.
- CNA experience within the last two years.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
