Pay
$18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Provides personal care services to patients.
- Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics for tasks such as ambulation, transferring, range of motion, positioning, and household chores.
- Plans and prepares nutritious meals; assists with feeding as assigned.
- Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
- Observes, reports, and documents changes in patient status; reports inability to perform tasks to the primary nurse.
- Follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care.
- Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist.
- Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant.
- CNA experience within the last two years.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
