CNA/Home Health Aide: In-Home Care

About the role

The Home Health Aide role at Lifespark is primarily responsible for assisting clients in their home with activities of daily living including personal care, delegated nursing tasks, homemaking, meal preparation, customer service and communication, emergency preparedness, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting
• Perform delegated nursing tasks
• Handle homemaking duties
• Prepare meals for clients
• Provide customer service and communication
• Ensure emergency preparedness and safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience, CNA certification, or nursing student
• Prefer High School Diploma
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
• Pass written and skill competency examinations
• Use a smart phone or tablet
• Valid driver's license and car insurance required
• Drive up to 25 miles to client's home

Pay

$17.00-$23.00 Hourly - Plus, mileage reimbursement of .70 cents per mile

Schedule

Shifts are 4-hours minimum, live-in shifts available
