CNA Home Health Aide (DAY SHIFT)

Sign-on bonus: $500 for non-per-diem Home Health Aide positions.

About the role

Day shift, 24 hours per week. Must have reliable transportation and flexible daytime availability. This position provides care in homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities: bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care, and feeding.
• Assist with medication management by reminding the client to take medication as needed.
• Assist the client with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities.
• Perform household services essential to a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Provide basic emotional and psychological support to the client and other household members.
• Assist the client to physician, clinic, or other appointments.
• Accompany the patient on walks and to social functions.
• Observe any changes in the clients’ abilities and/or needs for safety issues and notify the agency as appropriate.
• Document care and activities provided as per agency policy.

Requirements

• CNA Certification and License.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Previous caregiving experience is strongly preferred.
