About the role
This is a Full-time position (32 hours per week); Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Weekend 8:00am - 4:30pm supporting Forsyth and Davie Counties.
Responsibilities
- Provides compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintains a clean, safe environment.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
- Currently listed as NA I with NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Must have excellent telephone communication skills.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency.
- Must have own transportation.
