CNA/HHA Private Homecare

OSPREY, FL – Part-time weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts available.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic CNA/HHA to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one care to individuals in the comfort of their own apartments, helping them maintain their independence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys the company of, and caring for others. Must be able to communicate effectively and have experience working with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, incontinence care, and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
