About the role

Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) and provide compassionate, professional care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. You’ll have the flexibility to choose from various assignments, including long-term care or recovery support, and build a work schedule that fits your needs. We serve clients of all ages, with a special commitment to veterans.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and ensure they receive nutritious food.
• Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client’s living environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and cognitive engagement.

Requirements

• Current Florida CNA license or 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate from a state-approved school.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance.
• Negative TB test results.
• Ability to pass a Level II background check.
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions.
• Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
• Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently while following care plans.
• Access to a working smartphone.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Education & Awareness certification through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
