CNA/HHA - Full Time

About the role

Whisper Woods of Smithtown is seeking compassionate CNA/HHAs to join our resident care team. This role focuses on delivering care to assisted living and memory care residents, building meaningful connections, and serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Schedule

Full-time positions available on the following shifts:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
