Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Personal hygiene assistance: Showering, bathing, dressing, and eating for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents.
• Medication reminders: Reminding clients to take prescribed medications.
• Mobility support: Helping clients move around the house or attend doctor’s appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene: Assisting with personal care and hygiene needs.
• Companionship: Engaging in meaningful activities with clients.
• Housekeeping and meal preparation: Performing light housekeeping tasks and preparing meals.
• Shopping assistance: Accompanying clients for shopping trips.
• Emergency reporting: Reporting any unusual incidents and acting promptly in emergencies.
• Activities support: Assisting with essential daily living activities, including meal serving.
• One-on-one setting: Enjoying the opportunity to work in a one-on-one setting.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Validated ability to act compassionately and supportively.
• Availability for different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year).
• Ability to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate attitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
