CNA (Full-Time)(2nd and 3rd shift) - Fountains in Calhoun

The Fountains in Calhoun, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) who can provide outstanding resident care and physical support on a daily basis in our residents' home. A CNA will provide compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living. The ideal candidate comes with a big heart as they support and respond to the residents' emotional and physical needs.

About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Rotating every other weekend will be required. The Fountains in Calhoun has partnered with Tapcheck, allowing team members to access their earned wages instantly through a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members, and staff
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
• Assists with daily living activities, including turning and ambulating patients and delivering food and beverages
• Helps patients with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and assisting with bathing
• Provides adjunct patient care, including delivering ice packs and dressings to relieve pain
• Monitors and records food intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, to share with medical and nursing staff
• Processes information from other professionals and collaborates with physicians, caregivers, and nurses
• Utilizes infection control precautions and practices in all activities
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures and reports all safety violations

Requirements

• Passion for the senior population
• High School diploma or GED
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to think and work independently while maintaining efficient and consistent communications
• Excellent oral communication skills and professional bedside manner
• Ability to endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a calm demeanor
