CNA - Float Pool

About the role

This posting represents a 0.9 FTE, day and night shifts opening (6:45am–7:15pm/6:45pm-7:15am), scheduled as three 12-hour shifts during one week of the pay period and two 12-hour shifts during the alternate week, including every other Friday and Saturday night.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a high functioning team
• Absorb and follow the care plan
• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests
• Auxiliary tasks as directed by RN

Requirements

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Experience in hospital or long-term setting preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current BLS certification

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
