CNA Class- Training
About the role
This is an intense, 17 day course designed to help dedicated, compassionate people succeed in completing the Nurse Aide Training program.
Responsibilities
- Attend classes at NHC HealthCare Training Center from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for weeks one and two.
- Attend clinical rotations at NHC HealthCare Johnson City from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM for week three.
- Maintain a grade average of 85 to successfully complete the course.
- Complete all assigned homework.
Requirements
- Purchase two uniforms (Scrubs Dark Grey Scrub Bottoms and Burgundy Scrub Tops) for the class by week three.
- Bring clean athletic shoes or nursing shoes.
- Bring a wrist watch with a second hand.
- Bring a foldout cardboard presentation board (found in poster board section).
- Bring black pens, pencils, notebook and highlighters.
- Wear modest street clothes to class (no shorts, sleeveless shirts or halter tops, please).
- No facial piercings are to be worn to class except for earrings by female students.
- Uniform will be required for clinical rotation.
