CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Part Time) - Am Shift

About the role

Serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Essentia Living Center, a long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents
• Serves the needs of residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort
• Recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process
• Reports changes in resident condition to shift nurse
• Maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents
• Awareness of and prevention of the abuse of vulnerable adults
• Identifies safety hazards and initiates corrective actions

Requirements

• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date
• Every other weekend and a holiday rotation required
• Generous weekend differentials available

Qualifications

• Essential functions require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, family members, and other staff members
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of long-term care facilities and patient care

Pay

$18.71 - $28.07 / hour

Schedule

Day Rotation (United States of America), Shift Start/End: 10:00 pm or 6:00 pm/6:30 am, Hours Per Pay Period: 24
