Community Aide

This CNA position provides essential, hands-on care to clients in their homes to help them remain safe, healthy, and independent.

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Helping with basic household tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in a client’s condition to nurses or supervisors.
• Supporting comfort and safety.
• Offering companionship.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Basic knowledge of infection control, safety practices, and patient rights.
• Ability to observe, document, and report changes in a client’s condition to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Caregiver must have a compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in clients’ homes while following care plans.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to clients’ homes.
• Ability to pass background checks, health screenings, and required trainings.

Bonuses

• CNA - $1,000, paid in two increments at 3 months and 6 months of employment.
• HHA - $1,500, paid in two increments at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Shift Differentials

• $1.00 Weekdays | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
• $1.50 Weekends | 8:00am – 5:00pm
• $2.00 Weekends | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
