(CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant

Park Nursing Home in Rockaway Park, NY is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for all shifts. Located directly next to the boardwalk and a block from the shuttle station and A-line.

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, assisting residents with activities of daily living, and supporting the healthcare team to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document residents' vital signs, physical conditions, and emotional well-being.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.
• Assist with meal service, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate with nursing staff about any changes in residents' conditions.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers.
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, their families, and the team.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
• Graduated from a CNA training program.
• Successfully completed or in the process of scheduling/taking the state CNA exam.
• A passion for providing high-quality, person-centered care.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
