About the role
We provide skilled nursing care to individuals recently discharged from the hospital who need therapy, as well as those requiring long-term care.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting
- Mobility Support: Help reposition, get in and out of bed, transfer to chairs, and walk safely
- Vitals & Monitoring: Check vitals/weight and report changes in physical or mental health
- Feeding & Hydration: Assist with meals, snacks, and ensure adequate fluid intake
- Living Assistance: Make beds, tidy rooms, and help residents participate in activities
- Companionship: Provide friendship and emotional safety for a genuine human bond
- Document: Enter care information into our software system
Requirements
- Certified to work within the State of Connecticut as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
- Able to pass background check, drug screen, professional references check, and physical evaluation
- Kind and compassionate
