About the Role

As a CNA at Tucker House Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for assisting our skilled nursing staff with the daily care of our residents.

  • Providing basic care and hygiene assistance to residents
  • Assisting with meals, snacks, and hydration
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents
  • Documenting resident care and progress
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident care and progress
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assist with medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Provide emotional support and compassion to residents and their families
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
