Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs such as grooming and bathing, particularly benefiting those with limited mobility.
• Support patients during meals.
• Monitor and report vital signs and notable behaviors to our medical team.
• Facilitate patient mobility through transfers between wheelchairs and beds.
• Expertly adjust patients' positioning in bed to prevent bedsores and ensure maximum comfort.

Requirements

• Possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Alaska, with prior experience in home health and/or hospice settings preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for articulating patient needs and collaborating with the medical team.
• Vital time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities while ensuring quality care.
• A valid Driver's License with a clean record and reliable transportation.
• Certified CPR and Negative TB Test.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
• Proof of current auto insurance.
• Valid AK Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help).
• Hold a Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test).
