Job Opportunity

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Starting Pay: Competitive rates starting at $20 per hour, based on experience
Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours
Available Shifts: Part-Time 7a-3p, Full-Time/Part-Time 3p-11, Part-Time 11p-7a, Per Diem

Responsibilities

  • Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
  • C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies.
  • Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measuring and recording temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
  • Observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
  • Reports immediately all accidents or injuries.
  • Records all necessary charting entries.
  • Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.
  • Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
  • No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Additional Expectations

  • Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
