Join our team at Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center (DMRC) and take the first step towards a rewarding career as a CNA Certified Nurse Aide! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA Certified Nurse Aide to join our Weekend Program team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct hands-on care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a CNA
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN or eligibility to sit for the exam within 6 months of hire
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of infection control practices
• Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality
