Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising
  • Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed
  • Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated
  • Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed
  • Answer signal lights promptly
  • Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly
  • Works as a member of the team
  • Gets along well with co-workers
  • Accepts change in a positive manner

Requirements

  • Possess a current Texas Nurse Aide Certification (required)
  • Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program
  • Registration with State registry required
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

Schedule

Full-Time 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Pay

Starting at $14.50–16.50 an hour (based on experience)
